The Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame is inducting five people to its Media Roll of Honour this year, including two former Winnipeg Sun staffers. The late Jon Thordarson is just the second photographer ever inducted. He began his career at the Winnipeg Tribune and spent time at The Sun, the Hamilton Spectator and the Winnipeg Free Press as the photo editor.
